Alfa Laval adds new heat exchangers for transcritical CO2 applications

The world-leading supplier of compact heat exchangers has added its new high-pressure brazed heat exchanger models AXP10 and AXP14 for transcritical CO2 systems to the database. The highly efficient models have been developed for the heat pump and transport refrigeration market as well as commercial refrigeration.

The international company with headquarters in Sweden is presenting a whole new generation of heat exchangers. Alfa Laval’s compact brazed heat exchanger models AXP10 and AXP14 for transcritical CO2 are equipped with the newest technology to ensure a maximum in heat recovery capacity while being extremely safe at the same time. By designing a product that combines high efficiency and reliability, Alfa Laval aims to support especially supermarkets to move to green and responsible CO2 cooling systems.

The wide range of applications covers heat pump hot water systems, supermarket chiller installations and transport refrigeration.
