Designed for all common compressors, the ERM5 series is now approved for pressure differences of 1.5 up to 100 bar, and a maximum working pressure up to the solenoid valve of 130 bar.
In multiple-compressor parallel systems oil level regulators are installed to maintain the adequate oil level, which is conventionally fed from an oil reservoir.
Available in October 2015, the ERM5 is the fifth generation of ESK Schultze’s oil regulators. This product class incorporates improved features such as a compact and modular design, and increased pressure limits. The main body connected to the compressor is approved for 60 bar or 130 bar (type: ERM5-CDH), while the maximum working pressure up to the solenoid valve is 130 bar.
Increased operational safety of frequency controlled compressors
The types ERM5-OC-FU and ERM5-0-BC-FU have been developed for frequency controlled compressors, which are becoming increasingly important in modern refrigeration systems. Seeing as these compressors have variable oil carry-over rates, the function of the ERM5*-FU is to alert the user if the carry-over oil exceeds the oil return and signals it. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the compressor frequency for a period of time and ensure higher operational safety.
