By Andrew Williams, Jul 03, 2017, 10:00 1 minute reading

Episode 8 covers Woolworths' first CO2 transcritical store, R32's impact on the ozone layer, and the adoption of an energy efficiency label by EU energy ministers, among other stories.

Brought to you by shecco Media, the NatRefs Show provides a round-up of the most important natural refrigerants news from the websites r744.comammonia21.com and hydrocarbons21.com.

This week we welcome our journalist in Asia, Devin Yoshimoto, to the show for the first time. He previews the winter edition of Accelerate Australia & NZ magazine, which is due out in mid-July, by talking about retailer Woolworths' first transcritical CO2 store.

In this podcast we also cover new research findings from the UK indicating that R32 may be affecting the ozone layer, and discuss the adoption by EU energy ministers of a revised energy efficiency label.

Additionally we discuss what is believed to be the first CO2 transcritical system with an ejector in North America, in a Sprouts Farmers Market store in Woodstock, Georgia. And we conclude by talking about data from Colmac Coil, whose ammonia DX systems save energy and charge.

We'd love to hear your feedback as we improve the show over the coming months. Contact us at journalists@shecco.com. Happy listening!
