CAREL acquires its Polish distributor

Alfaco Polska Sp. z o.o., based in Wrocław, Poland, has been the Italian multinational’s Polish distributor for over 20 years.

The CAREL Group, in the latest step of its international expansion strategy, has acquired Alfaco Polska Sp. z o.o., based in Wrocław, Poland, which has been the Italian multinational’s Polish distributor for over 20 years.

“Alfaco is a very important, long-term partner for us in Poland,” said CAREL Group Managing Director Francesco Nalini.

CAREL hopes the acquisition can help them provide local support to HVAC OEMs in Poland, while investing in high-efficiency solutions that use natural refrigerants.

Investment goes east

The CAREL Group also hopes this recent investment will consolidate its recent growth in the Polish, Ukrainian and Baltic markets.

“With this acquisition we are continuing our strategy to establish a direct presence in all major international markets, meaning we can be close to our customers and support them in terms of technology, logistics and service,” Nalini said.

The group expects to record double-digit growth in the RAC market in European Eastern countries in the next few years.

“This acquisition by the CAREL Group will help us better serve the needs of domestic and foreign markets. Innovation, responsibility and quality are the cornerstones that define us in this industry and strengthen our position on the market.”
