In this week’s episode, we take a look at two events in China, U.S. trends in the usage of low-charge ammonia, a webinar on hydrocarbons and a controversial court case in Europe.
China Refrigeration 2018, the largest HVAC&R trade show in China, took place from 9-11 April. The first ATMOsphere China conference on natural refrigerants was held on 11-12 April.
In other news, we turn our attention to the European Court of Justice, where the Advocate General has agreed with the European Commission that Germany violated the mobile air-conditioning systems (MAC) directive by allowing Daimler to continue to use R134a in its mobile air-conditioning systems.
Meanwhile LIFE FRONT, an EU-funded project that aims to remove barriers to wider uptake of hydrocarbons, announced it would hold a free webinar on 25 April at 15:00 (CEST).
We also hear from Michael Garry, our North American editor, on low-charge ammonia and the latest edition of Accelerate America. We’d love to hear your feedback as we improve the show. Contact us at email@example.com. Happy listening!
