Schaufler Academy webinars plan to cover CO2 topics.
Bitzer Group’s international training center, the Rottenburg, , Germany-based Schaufler Academy, has added webinars on applications, products, basic knowledge, and tools, including natural refrigerant topics, to its HVAC&R seminar series.
The academy’s webinars are given in English, last between 30 to 60 minutes, and are free of charge, according to a Schaufler press release.
For example, a forthcoming session will cover “CO2 System Configurations and Components with Focus on Commercial and Industrial Applications” on June 30.
In addition, the “Water Cooled Condenser Selection with SmarTube 2.71 Software” and the first part of the “CO2 System Calculation and Simulation” webinar will be held on July 1 and 2, respectively.

“In these unusual times, we see it as our responsibility to offer our customers and partners information as well as seminars with more general content for applications and more specialized content for our products and services,”said Volker Stamer, Director of the Schaufler Academy. Given the travel restrictions and social distancing caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Schaufler Academy recommends webinars as an alternative to in-person learning, added Stamer.
Bitzer established its training centers because “system operators and service technicians worldwide face ever greater demands due to environmental and efficiency regulations, new refrigerants, and electronic components,” according to Schaufler.
