Description

For Retail Refrigeration: Danfoss has developed the EKC 326 controller to be used in systems with CO2 transcritical and subcritical cooling control systems. The controller regulates the pressure in the gas cooler so that the system achieves the optimal COP.

Technical Specifications
  • Valve: ICMT valve to control the pressure in the gas cooler
  • Regulation: must have inputs from both a pressure transmitter PGC (MBS 3000) and a temperature sensor S2GC
  • Motor section of the valve: ICAD actuator controlled by a 4-20 mA signal from the controller
  • External start/stop regulation: regulation stops and the valve opens when the input is closed
  • Analogue input
  • PC operation
  • Facility to force the valve to open at pressures over Pgc Max. lim
  • Facility to use either dP or dT to control subcooling in a subcritical state
  • Facility to connect a pressure transmitter so that the pressure in the receiver can be read (requires an external power supply)
