ATMO Europe Case Studies to Highlight CO₂ Refrigeration and Heat Pumps 

A wide range of refrigeration and heat pump case studies involving the use of CO₂ (R744) as the refrigerant will be presented by industry-leading companies at the ATMOsphere (ATMO) Europe Summit 2023 on natural refrigerant-based HVAC&R.

This 13^th annual edition of the conference will be held Tuesday, September 19, and Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Hotel Le Plaza Brussels in Belgium. The event, addressing applications of the natural refrigerants CO₂ (R744), hydrocarbons and ammonia (R717), is organized by ATMOsphere, publisher of R744.com.

There will be presentations of six CO₂ refrigeration case studies and four CO₂ heat pump case studies. Manufacturers presenting CO₂ refrigeration case studies include Advansor (with Veld Koeltechniek), SCM Frigo (with Sagat), Energy Recovery (with Fieuw Koeltechniek), Dorin (with Arneg), Biaggini Frigoriferi (with Migros Ticino) and TEKO. Companies offering CO₂ heat pump case studies include Triple Aqua (with Sinop), Copeland (with BDR Thermea), Energy Recovery and Guntner (with Fenagy).

In addition, transport case studies will be presented by Ecooltec and GIZ Proklima.

There will also be case studies on hydrocarbon-based commercial cabinets.
