ATMOsphere, publisher of R744.com, has issued a call for natural refrigerant case studies to be presented at its ATMOsphere (ATMO) Europe Summit 2022, which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on November 15–16.
Abstracts must be submitted by August 5.
Case studies should showcase innovative HVAC&R projects and technologies based on natural refrigerants like CO2 (R744), ammonia/NH3 (R717) and propane (R290). Presentations, which will be 10–12 minutes in duration, should focus on or be applicable to the European market, include real-life applications and highlight end-user experiences.
Topics could include commercial, industrial or transport refrigeration; mobile or stationary air conditioning; SF6-free switchgear; heat pumps; or new areas of application.
At the recent ATMO America Summit, which took place June 7–8 in Alexandria, Virginia, case studies included transcritical CO2 in supermarkets, natural refrigerant heat pumps for district energy systems and net-zero ammonia-based industrial refrigeration.
The summit will provide manufacturers with a platform to reach leading HVAC&R stakeholders from across Europe and beyond. ATMOsphere expects attendees to include end users, policymakers, researchers, consultants and representatives of manufacturers, academia, NGOs, associations and media.
Due to limited space, priority will be given to case studies that are presented with end users or installers and include efficiency or cost analyses.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and case studies might be selected before the August 5 deadline, so ATMOsphere recommends early submission.
Confirmed speakers are eligible for a 50% discount on the standard conference pass.
Any questions about submitting a case study abstract for ATMO Europe Summit 2022 can be directed to Luján Hernández, Events and Marketing Coordinator at ATMOsphere.
ATMO Europe Summit 2022
This year’s summit is the 12th edition of ATMO Europe and will be exclusively an in-person event. The venue of the summit will be announced soon.
In addition to industry case studies, the two-day program will cover policy developments – particularly the EU F-gas Regulation – market updates, end-user experiences, the health and environmental impact of f-gas refrigerants, training and more. There will also be networking drinks on the evening of November 15.
This year’s ATMO Europe is supported by platinum sponsor, TEKO and gold sponsors Arneg, Castle, Emerson, Epta, Sanhua and Schneider Electric. HVAC&R stakeholders that are committed to future-proof technologies and interested in becoming a sponsor of ATMO Europe Summit 2022 can find more information here.
