ATMOsphere, publisher of R744.com, has issued a call for case studies from manufacturers of natural refrigerant HVAC&R technologies to be presented at the ATMOsphere (ATMO) Europe Summit 2023, which will take place in Brussels, on September 19–20.

Case studies, which must be submitted by May 12, should be relevant to the European market, feature a real-life application and be presented in partnership with an end user or installer.

This year’s summit will be the 13th edition of ATMO Europe and will gather industry experts from across Europe and beyond. Attendees will include end users, manufacturers, contractors, policymakers, researchers, academics and representatives from industry associations, NGOs and the media.

The event will focus on sharing the latest developments in natural refrigerant-based HVAC&R technologies.

In addition to case studies, the two-day program will include keynote presentations, panel discussions on policy and market trends, networking events and an award ceremony. Discussions will also explore business opportunities and future perspectives from around the HVAC&R industry.

Gold sponsors of ATMO Europe 2023 include Sanhua and TEKO; additional sponsorship opportunities are available.

Registration for ATMO Europe 2023 is now open, with an early bird discount of up to €180 (US$195) available until April 7.

Free passes are available for end users, and contractors and installers are eligible to receive one free ticket per organization, with a 50% discount on additional tickets.

Confirmed speakers will receive a 50% discount on their tickets to the event.

NatRef successes

ATMO Europe case studies must focus on natural refrigerants – including CO2 (R744), hydrocarbons and ammonia (R717) – and could look at commercial, industrial or transport refrigeration, heat pumps, mobile air-conditioning or new areas of application.

Submissions must include reference to the application’s sustainability, replicability, originality and tangibility, and preference will be given to case studies that include efficiency and cost analyses.

Each presentation will be allocated a maximum of 12 minutes plus three minutes for questions from the audience.
