At CleanEquity, an annual event hosted by the London-based investment bank Innovator Capital, boostHEAT will present its CO2 heat pump.

The conference takes place from 7-9 March at the Fairmont Monte Carlo and was conceived by Prince Albert II of Monaco together with Mungo Park, chairman of Innovator Capital, to accelerate clean technology innovation.

French energy-efficiency company boostHEAT’s heat pump uses a gas burner to power the heat pump rather than an electric motor.

It comes in two ranges: the boostHEAT 20kW for residential and the boostHEAT 50kW for commercial buildings.

“A functioning boiler does not mean an efficient boiler. By choosing our products, the customers reduce their carbon footprint and participate in the energy transition,” Luc Jacquet, co-founder and CEO of boostHEAT, said in a press release.

The product will be manufactured industrially by April 2018 in Lyon, France. It will be officially launched by the end of 2018 in France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
