Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has launched a new “Customer Days” program for its retail customers in Europe, aiming to provide in-depth product, service and technology strategy sessions at Carrier’s intelligence center in Mainz, Germany.

The Customer Days program is designed to encourage deeper customer engagement and create a forum for discussions around current capabilities and future developments, Carrier said in a statement.

Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, whose European headquarters is in Rueil-Malmaison, France,  is a leading supplier of CO2 (R744) refrigeration systems for food retail stores of all formats and for industrial sites. Its offerings include project engineering, product manufacturing, installation and ongoing customer service.

“The world has gone through significant changes over the past year, and the need for enhanced customer intimacy, with customized quality time, has never been stronger,” said David Appel, President for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration.

“Rather than rely mainly upon large trade shows that take place on an annual, if not longer basis, we will begin hosting targeted sessions with decision makers at our world-class technology center in Germany with tailored programs that address a customer’s specific needs.”

The sessions offered by the Customer Days program will leverage knowledge from senior leaders of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration and “engage customers in discussions covering retail trends, technology reviews, installations and life-cycle optimization,” the company said.

Session agendas will be optimized for each customer to address their needs most efficiently. Topics can include new product development, energy efficiency, sustainable solutions such as CO2 refrigeration, services, digital and life-cycle solutions, as well as customer-specific subjects.

Retailers interested in booking a session can email Carrier here. The new Customer Days program is not Carrier’s first attempt to help its customers become more efficient. In 2021, Carrier revealed that it had helped customers reduce their carbon footprint by 68 million metric tons CO2e in 2020.

“We will begin hosting targeted sessions with decision makers at our world-class technology center in Germany with tailored programs that address a customer’s specific needs.”
