Daikin Europe N.V., a division of Japanese manufacturer Daikin Industries, Ltd, will be exhibiting its CO2 “Conveni-Pack” integrated refrigeration, heating and air conditioning system targeted at small- to medium-sized food retailers at the Virtual Trade Show on September 1-2.
The online event, which aims to connect suppliers of natural refrigerant-based HVAC&R systems and components with the global cooling marketplace, is being hosted by ATMOsphere Marketplace, a division of clean cooling accelerator shecco (publisher of this website). To attend the free event, register here.
“The Conveni-Pack system is an all-in-one refrigeration system that recovers heat from supermarket refrigeration display cabinets and evaporators and reuses it to heat other areas of the building at no extra cost,” said Alexandru Rusu, Business Development, Daikin Europe N.V.
“In winter conditions the system can even extract additional heat from the outdoor air through its heat pump function, and during hot summer days, the system can also air-condition the building,” he added.
Rusu noted that through the Natural HVACR 4 LIFE research project, which is co-funded by the EU’s LIFE programme, Daikin aims to help lower the barriers to introducing CO2 technology through real-life demonstrations, research and development; improvement of safety standards and energy efficiency regulations; and the organization and dissemination of information and training for the industry.
In addition to the “Conveni-Pack”, Daikin will also be exhibiting other natural refrigerant products from brands belonging to the company including, including AHT’s R290 showcase solutions, Zanotti’s R290 mono-blocks for cold rooms, the Tewis range of racks and packs using CO2 as well as the new range of Hubbard CO2 condensing units.
