On May 25, 2021, Japanese OEM Mayekawa launched its “Mayekawa Online Expo” exhibition page on its website. The online exhibition page features Mayekawa’s technologies aimed at the food processing and manufacturing industry. The launch is timed to coincide with FOOMA Japan (short for the International Food Machinery & Technology Exhibition), scheduled to run June 1-4 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. View the exhibition page here (in Japanese).

FOOMA Japan is one of Asia’s largest exhibitions for food machinery and food processing technologies.

Mayekawa’s “Online Expo” features several CO2-based systems aimed at the food manufacturing and processing industries, including the company’s recently developed CO2 condensing unit, dubbed “Copel,” and its “EcoSirocco” CO2 heat pump.

The site contains several product catalogs and brochures and will feature videos from the event itself. There will also be a video recording of a presentation scheduled to be delivered by Makoto Ehara, manager of the Food Thermal Energy Team in the Advanced Systems Division, titled “Towards Food Factories for a Sustainable Society: Utilization of Renewable Energy” on June 3.
