M&M Carnot, a manufacturer of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems using natural refrigerants, has joined leading CO2 (R744) refrigeration providers as a gold partner of the R744.com marketplace.
M&M Carnot formed in July 2019 when M&M Refrigeration, a major supplier of industrial ammonia/NH3 (R717) and ammonia/CO2 (R744) cascade systems, acquired Carnot Refrigeration, a leading supplier of transcritical CO2 systems to multiple business sectors.
Based in Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada, Carnot Refrigeration pioneered the use of CO2 transcritical refrigeration in North America for commercial and industrial applications including data centers, food processing facilities, cold-storage warehouses, supermarkets, ice rinks, and several other industrial applications.
Carnot’s Founder CEO, Marc-André Lesmerises, was named Person of the Year in 2016 by Accelerate America for Carnot’s impact on the North American refrigeration industry. (Accelerate America was published by shecco, publisher of R744.com.)
M&M Refrigeration, based in Federalsburg, Maryland (U.S.)., designs, builds, manufactures and services industrial refrigeration equipment and control systems for cold storage, food processing and other industrial applications. It is a pioneer in the development of ammonia/CO2 cascade systems, and offers low-charge ammonia packaged systems.
In April, M&M Carnot announced the release of Aquilon DS, a new line of CO2 air-cooled condensing units (CDUs) for industrial applications.
