U.S.-Canadian manufacturer of natural refrigerant equipment M&M Carnot has announced the promotion of John Miranda to Chief Sales Officer.
Miranda, who was previously Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will be responsible for driving sales and marketing strategies to accelerate growth, focusing on natural refrigerant solutions, the company said in an emailed statement.
Miranda has 35 years of experience in the industry, having worked in sales, marketing and operations with leading industry players like Baltimore Aircoil Company and Güntner before joining M&M Refrigeration in 2019. He will oversee the “launch and growth of new products, including packaged systems, transcritical CO2 (R744), custom products, and controls,” the statement said.
M&M Carnot was formed in July 2019 when U.S. M&M Refrigeration, a manufacturer specializing in ammonia (NH3, also known as R717) and ammonia/CO2 cascade systems, acquired Carnot Refrigeration, a leading Canadian supplier of transcritical CO2 systems.
In February 2022, the company expanded further, with the acquisition of Logix Controls, a U.S.-based supplier of controls for wineries, cold storage warehouses, distribution center, and processing plants. Logix is in the final stages of development on an industrial CO2 refrigeration systems controller, which is expected to be launched in March.
