SANHA, the German piping specialist, has expanded its 29000 series RefHP (high pressure solder fittings) for high-pressure CO2 refrigeration systems to dimension 2 1/8 (nominal pipe size), extending the series to all piping ranges for transcritical CO2

“With this expansion of our RefHP range we can provide a complete system solution for transcritical applications”.

Mathias van den Broeck, SANHA’s Product Manager

“With this expansion of our RefHP range we can provide a complete system solution for transcritical applications,” said Mathias van den Broeck, product manager at SANHA

The new addition to the RefHP range operates safely at pressures of 130 bar, extending the series to all high-pressure transcritical CO2 systems.

The fittings are made of copper-iron, which weighs less than stainless steel. This reduces installation costs and improves handling. They also use a processing-friendly soldering technology that is believed to be much simpler than conventional TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding.

The series can be combined with commonly available copper-iron tubes for CO2  like the K65, CL12 and TALOS XS.
