Retail giant Carrefour will open a hypermarket fitted with a state-of-the-art CO2 transcritical refrigeration system in the Brazilian city of São Paulo on 27 October.
Systemes LMP, a CO2 rack manufacturer and refrigeration system designer, has come up with a completely integrated heating and cooling supermarket system for the Independent Grocer’s Association (IGA).
Refrigeration equipment manufacturer SCM Frigo has begun production on a new line of CO2 booster systems for convenience stores. Meanwhile, the Italian company has supplied CO2 transcritical booster racks to a large logistics centre in Poland.
COOP Liguria in Italy has commissioned its very first CO2 transcritical booster system for its store in Carasco. With a sales area of 5,500m2, the COOP store at the shopping center “I Leudi” features two CO2 booster racks using Dorin CD compressors.
