The Université des Mascareignes, a public university in Mauritius, has started to provide CO2 training for contractors and students on its premises.
Source Refrigeration & HVAC, a major U.S. contractor based in Anaheim, California, is in the process of installing a subcritical CO2 refrigeration system at its headquarters’ training centre to serve as a technician-training tool.
The Danish Technological Institute (DTI) supplies complete CO2 training courses combining theory and most importantly hands-on training. Denmark continues to lead Europe in CO2 transcritical store installations and DTI is well placed to ensure refrigeration professionals keep up with the highly evolved market.
During the ATMOsphere Europe 2016 conference in Barcelona, Spain, policy experts outlined the latest regulatory developments in Europe and beyond. Training of technicians was highlighted as a key activity to support the uptake of natural refrigerants in Europe.
BITZER’s new training centre, the SCHAUFLER Academy, had its official inauguration on 3 February. The Academy will work to develop enthusiasm about technology with students through relationships with different institutions, explained Volker Stamer in a recent interview with Accelerate Europe. The Academy will also be presented during a dedicated Training & Education session at ATMOsphere Europe 2016.
